We welcome the recent foundation in Slovakia – a EU member state, since 2004 – of the SLOVAK FALERISTICS SOCIETY – SFS (Slovenskej Faleristickej Spoločnosti).
The SFS has launched on-line a Website, still under construction, which in the future will have English and German versions (not working at present) and in whose header can be seen the SFS logo and several images of past and present Slovakian orders, medals and decorations.
SFS Chairman – Bc. Pavol Marciš, has informed us of the upcoming International Conference of Faleristics, on October 22, 2011, at the Musem of the Slovak National Uprising, in the city Banská Bystrica, More… (.Pdf in English).
The Republic of Slovakia has the following state honours all awarded by the President of Slovakia:
- Order of the White Double Cross (only awarded to foreigners)
- Andrej Hlinka Order
- Ľudovít Štúr Order

- M. R. Štefánik Cross
- Medal of the President of Slovak Republic and
